Last night, two of my closest friends in the world, Adrian and Susan, became engaged. Adrian surprised Susan by proposing to her in front of their dearest friends and family members at The Palm steakhouse in Washington, DC, and it was a night we’ll never forget. The secret invitation in the weeks prior to the proposal, our initial shock, followed by immediate joy for his awesome surprise plan; and then conversations with Sue in the days leading up to the dinner, without spilling the beans…totally worth it!
