Today, Adrian and I had lunch at Pasara, a Thai restaurant off Englehardt Lane, near the Carlisle Circle off Duke Street/Eisenhower Ave in Alexandria, VA, not far from Old Town.
This is the west side of Pasara. There was another section of equal size around the corner. It was a pretty big place and there was a wait when we arrived around 12:30 pm. Totally understandable, and we were still seated within five minutes.
Nice looking spot. Here’s the bar.
Wall Decor. Not chock full of fake mini-waterfalls. I appreciated that.
Adrian’s Thai Iced Tea (I think). He liked it but I think it looks gross.
The spring rolls were tasty. I should have eaten more than one because it took FOREVER for our food to come!
Adrian looks as if he’s burnt our food isn’t here yet but this is his normal face.
Adrian said his pad thai was “too wet”. I think all pad thai looks greasy.
My pineapple fried rice with chicken was GOOD! Although the rice was a bit overcooked. I must have been super hungry because it took me a while to realize they forgot to put shrimp in it.
Although this place was Adrian’s suggestion, he said it was a major FAIL. To Galae Thai next time!
